I’m afraid this is now the third post with pictures taken by my son!
These are from today’s Easter Sunday Mass, so I hope you enjoy looking at them.

Keep them coming, I say, mmvc. If he continues to perfect his craft, your boy will, no doubt, in due course exceed the fame Frank Royal (Captain, R’td, RIP) attained as the first photographer of the invasion of Sicily in ’43. In that small way, Uncle Frank thus became part of the perfect deception the credulous Nazis fell for in what was late immortalized by the 1956 film The Man Who Never Was. He was also one of the official photographers of the first trip by Princess Elizabeth (as she then was) made to Canada in 1951.

Happy Easter everyone. Beautiful Mass today, even if Father did drop the Host on the floor of the sanctuary, which I went to pick up and would have, but for a very Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist who knelt down first, God bless her.

Why hasn’t Google made special note of the fact of Easter? They commemorate everything else.

Is it just me, or is there a definite slowdown in the speed of the Internet today?

Don’t know why my link to this (^) July 28th/43 photo taken by Uncle Frank near Nissoria, Sicily didn’t work the first time. Official Secrets Act, perhaps?

Wonderful pictures Maryla, and as JH says, your son is an extremely gifted photographer. I wish we could all have been in Rome this morning 😉

Excellent “snaps,” indeed. Phil’s clearly a gifted smudger.
He’d better watch out. Look what befell Tony Armstrong-Jones.
Fashion note: Does anyone know what the crucifix Pope Francisco habitually wears is made of?
