Staff Aureus

[Doh! these are staph aureus., you twit-Ed]

I would just like to use this post to pay tribute to all the wonderful hospital staff (and blog staff) that I work with. They are golden in my eyes.

I like to keep a low profile, as this gives me the best view. From down here, I can see how creation actually works, and how to co-operate with it. It nauseates me to hear high ranking people being lauded for something or other and hogging the limelight, when in fact their success is down to their team as a whole.

A team works best when there is a clear chain of command, obedience to Truth, individual initiative within reason and every member is valued.

I am fortunate enough to work in such teams. Deo gratias!

Brother Bruschetta, I think I’m remembering correctly that you were a new kid on the Damian Thompson blog in the Spring or Summer of ’09, but I could be mistaken. I joined the group in late February of that year. Gosh, some of the weirdos – Catholics included, but not you – or me 😉 who posted there! Still, I miss most of that old crew. I see ‘Micky Ross’ still bleating away on life support at Teleblogs now and then. At least he was a half-way intelligent and articulate Devil’s Advocate. I wonder where all of our missing comrades from there ended up?

Hi JH, sorry for being so tardy. You may have noticed that Teleblogs has recently died, soon after DT let Damian Thompson go. I still miss the cut and thrust and humour that went on there, but the trolls turned nasty and started having people deleted from the system. The old crowd are all still about but using Twitter and Catholic websites to vent their Faith.

Twitter has surprised me by its utility in getting news and links for things that interest me. If you sign up and follow @BruvverEccles, you will find links to most of the old crew in his “Followers” list.
