Fr Rutler’s Stillness: Be Not Afraid, I Am With You Always

From 1996, including an original misspelling of his name, and a video quality  designed to camouflage his stillness completely.

I post this as a gift to JH and to all like him and me, who can recognize greatness.

About Brother Burrito

A sinner who hopes in God's Mercy, and who cannot stop smiling since realizing that Christ IS the Way , the Truth and the Life. Alleluia!

BB: I’m only up the 10 minute mark and must retire to prepare for a visit tomorrow by relatives from the USA, but even with that limited viewing, it’s obvious that he’s a Fulton Sheen of the present age. We are fortunate that there are still quite a few priests like him – in the sense of humble yet strict orthodoxy – and I believe his ilk are on the increase, if only because relatively new priests and men just now entering seminary, possibly by virtue of being young, seem to be rebelling against the usual suspects who were ordained in the mid-to-late 20th century.
