New from Remnant TV…
As part of Remnant TV’s documentary on the 25th Anniversary of the Roman Forum in Gardone Riviera, Italy, Michael Matt interviews Vatican journalist and premier Rome correspondent, Edward Pentin, as well as King’s College’s renowned professor of philosophy, Dr. Thomas Pink.
This is the first installment of a series of interviews that will appear over the course of the next few weeks.
The RTV Documentary on this unique symposium on the Shores of Lake Garda will appear on August 1, 2017.
Dr Pink tells of attendees from Australia. I wonder who they may be, given the deafening silence of Traditionalist from this part of the world?

Geoff, I don’t think anyone from Australia was listed as a speaker at this years gathering, but you could try contacting the Roman Forum’s director for an answer to your question. Here is an address:

If we don’t have harmony in the Catholic church, how can we have harmony with the world? Or if we don’t have harmony in our marriage and families, how can we work towards harmony with the church and the world? Somehow the Modernists need dialogue with the Traditionalists in clear language to come together, at least for the Church’s sake. Jesus did say “Do not think that I have come to bring peace but the sword. For I have come to set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother….” Matthew 10:34. We are feeling this division, can expect it, and must work towards “love of God and love of neighbor.” Differences of opinion will continue till the end of time.

Hardly slumming it, are they? Still, as long as they all enjoy themselves.
The Devil seems to be the star performer. As usual.
“Jesus did say “Do not think that I have come to bring peace but the sword. For I have come to set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother….”
…And yet the man is expected to “…love his neighbour.” Odd.
Perhaps the conference can discuss that?

My distrust of this so-called “remnant” remains — though the video they produced illustrating their Chartres pilgrimage this year is lovely

Jabba, the video produced by The Remnant covering the 2017 Chartres pilgrimage is no more than another reflection of their ongoing love for Catholic Tradition and orthodoxy. All their work is aimed at making sure that Truth prevails, thus warning Catholics to avoid worldliness, Securalism and Protestant heresies that have gradually seeped into the Church in the 20th century, and which have accelerated in the aftermath of V2 …. and very much so under the current papacy!
I have never understood why you distrust these men of the Remnant who defend our beloved Catholic Church.

If you watch Michael Matt’s older interviews, he is always trying to understand what is happening to the Church. Yes, he can get a little heated but only because like the rest of us, he’s searching for truth and Truth in our Catholic church.
