‘Rosary on the Coast for Faith and Life’ on 26/11/17 was a huge success

A month beforehand we had published a linked post announcing the event. Despite a noticeable lack of mainstream media coverage, secular hostility and the Irish weather, the Rosary on the Coast for Faith and Life on the Feast of Christ the King (in the N.O. Liturgical calendar) this past 26th November, was a huge success. Faithful Catholics gathered at over 300 points on the shores of Ireland to beseech Our Sovereign Lord and the Blessed Virgin Mary’s intercession to keep Ireland free from the evil of abortion.

Here is the message of thanks from the organisers:

A HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO PARTICIPATED IN THE ROSARY ON THE COAST

Firstly, we thank Christ our King, and the Most Immaculate Heart of Mary, Queen of Ireland for all the graces and blessings.

From the bottom of our hearts we humbly thank everyone who organised one of the 300+ locations around the coastlines of our beautiful country.

We are incredibly grateful to each and everyone of you, that braved the elements to pray for the protection of life, from conception to natural death, and for the preservation and increase in faith in Ireland.

Please be patient with us as we collect videos and pictures, we will post them in due course.

May God Bless you all.

The video below is an example of one of the many that have been placed on Facebook. I chose it for the beautiful background hymn of Schubert’s Ave Maria and the informative over-script.

“Hear my cry, O God; listen to my prayer” – (Psalm 61:1)
