Intentions:

* FAITH: The return of England, Wales and Scotland to the faith of our forefathers which is the traditional Catholic Faith with all its doctrine, liturgy and morals.
* LIFE: The restoration of marriage as intended by the Church, the interdiction of abortion, euthanasia, artificial contraception, divorce, promiscuity, homosexuality, pornography, sex education in schools, indecency, all other sins against holy purity and against the body which is the temple of the Holy Ghost.
* PEACE: The peace that only Our Lord Jesus Christ can give when He is acknowledged as the King over all society: the church, the state, the family and the individual.

Nine bishops have said they will attend the mass prayer event on Sunday April 29

Over 250 locations have been confirmed for the Rosary on the Coast, with nine bishops saying they will take part.

The mass prayer event, scheduled for 3pm on Sunday April 29, will extend from the island of Guernsey off the coast of France to St Ninian’s Isle in Shetland, between Scotland and Norway.

An online map of the 197 locations shows the greatest density of prayer groups is around Portsmouth. The Diocese of Plymouth, which covers much of the West Country, has 16 groups – the highest of any diocese.

Organisers say the day is aimed at a “re-flourishing of the faith, for the grace to build a culture of life and for true peace to reign in the hearts of all peoples and nations”. It follows similar events in Poland and Ireland.

Sunday April 29 is the feast of Our Lady of Faith and of St Catherine of Siena, and comes two days after the anniversary of the full implementation of the 1967 abortion act.

Forty days of spiritual preparation are due to end on the Friday, while on Saturday participants are encouraged to go to Confession.

Jesus said: Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. (Matt 18: 20) We will surround the coasts of our Isles with prayer and encircle them with a Living Rosary for Life, Faith and Peace at 3pm. At the same hour those in inland locations will gather at their Cathedrals, Churches and Shrines. Designated local leaders will be points of contact to coordinate the coastal locations where people will gather. A national list will be available online. The ocean of God’s Mercy is sure to descend upon us when Jesus, Our Blessed Mother, St. Joseph and all the saints gaze upon the British Isles and see our faith and prayer!

INSPIRATION!
