A big hello to all my friends and enemies here. God love you all.
By mutual agreement with my blog colleagues, I have decided to cease posting articles here, forever more.
Some of you will breathe a huge sigh of relief, no doubt. The rest will remain indifferent, which is only right and just.
In my simple way, I helped establish this blog away back in 2010. Since then, it has grown and grown and grown. It now attracts more than a 1000 hits a day, which makes it an internet sensation, surely.
All of this success is down to gertrude, kathleen, and mmvc who have between them kept this site going. They appear to me to be tireless soldiers for God. Long may they fight and win.

I will miss you very much Burrito – (Sob).
It wasn’t actually “an agreement” though, was it? No one asked you to leave. It was you who decided that perhaps you didn’t fit in anymore with the very orthodox Catholic ethics of the rest of the team members here, plus disagreeing with our criticism of the methods of the current Pontiff. Without seeing how we get round these differences you voted to move on.
None of this changes the fact that you have contributed some wonderful posts over the years, some moving tearjerkers, some amusing and witty, and others very edifying. Thank you.
We all hope you will still visit often all the same and join in discussions… you promised you would 😉. God love you.
