The libs aren’t trembling at all. The liberal media have their back. Any liberal cleric, even a Pope, could be accused of covering up abuse by a source in a position to know and they would still downplay it and then sweep it under the carpet.

I have just listened to a pertfect example of this: the BBC Radio “Sunday” programme, fronted by Edward Stourton (a Catholic who is also on the board of the Catholic weekly publication, The Tablet.) I listened to the entire programme wondering when the present crisis would be mentioned and how it would be covered. Apart from a supportive piece on the Chinese choosing Catholic bishops (!) there was absolutely nothing. The name of Pope Francis was entirely absent from a fifty-minute programme. Yes, you’re right John. Crisis? What crisis?
