Today, Thursday 13 June, is not only the feast of Saint Antony of Padua but also the almost forgotten feast of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus.
Our Lord desires us to venerate and make reparation to His Eucharistic Heart for all the blasphemies, ingratitude and sacrileges committed against His adorable Heart in the Blessed Sacrament.
Behold His Divine Heart bursting with a fervent love for us, desiring that we receive Him daily uniting ourselves with Him the Source of Love and Mercy.
Keep this image in your mind when receiving Him in Holy Communion, and realise that as beautiful as it is, it is but a shadow of His infinite glory entering our poor hearts.
O Jesus, what Love draws Thee daily from above, clad in signs of Bread and Wine!
Eucharistic Heart of Jesus, we thank you, we praise you and adore you!
